What the marker means

The Matterhorn icon identifies the first monthly top-100 appearance and sits on the next observed trading-session close. It does not claim a live recommendation was published on that date.

01

Rank the full universe

Each month’s eligible pool is ranked before looking at these 50 examples. A marker uses the same top-100 cutoff for every stock. Dates are not selected from the price chart.

02

Separate signal and entry

The rank is observed at month-end. The next available trading-session close is the illustrative entry. Weekly sampling preserves the exact dated marker.

03

Keep the misses visible

These companies were chosen with hindsight. A famous winner may have no flag or no data. This gallery cannot measure the model’s hit rate or its expected investment return.

04

Read the whole climb

A fast 5× or 10× move counts. Milestones record when that price multiple was first reached after the illustrative entry. Dividends, fees and taxes are excluded.

Model versions, pricing and evidence

Matterhorn ML Enhanced. Combines Matterhorn’s proprietary business analysis with learned opportunity and durability signals. This gallery uses the frozen RC2 research recipe.

Matterhorn Proprietary. Uses Matterhorn’s archived deterministic ranking formula. This historical comparison reconstructs that formula; it is not a saved record of the complete production ranking.

Validation scope. Fold-local models generated these development-period ranks. Research choices were subsequently reviewed on this period. The gallery is a retrospective case study and does not establish a prospective trading edge. No post-2019 flags have been inferred from the later price path.

Price basis. Prices are adjusted for recorded share actions; cash dividends are excluded. Corporate-action and source notes are retained below. Chart multiples therefore differ from the dividend-reinvestment portfolio study. The latest observed price date is shown for each company.

Limited window. When a flag coincides with an issuer’s first available scored month, the earlier qualifying date is unknown. Missing months remain gaps. Present tickers are display aliases for matched issuers. Unverified predecessor histories are not combined.

GOOGL source notes. Fallback public Yahoo daily quote.close series is already adjusted for vendor corporate actions. Cash dividends are excluded. This display feed is not an admitted Matterhorn training-price source. Alphabet Class A ticker GOOGL; vendor history follows Google/Alphabet predecessor history and its 2014 share-class distribution.

Archive investigation. Seven pre-reorganization Google Inc. observations are linked to Alphabet through the documented one-for-one Class A share conversion. The 16-month successor-data gap remains empty. The archived scores are issuer-level. This chart illustrates GOOGL Class A; the model did not make a share-class recommendation. Its frozen market inputs for Alphabet used GOOG Class C. The predecessor archive had unresolved security identity and missing market inputs. Supplemental primary-source identity evidence supports this display bridge but does not amend the original model admission record.
